据说八珍糕的发明者是明朝的外科名医陈实功。清朝乾隆皇帝和慈溪太后常服八珍糕。八珍糕被冠名长寿之糕,有“千年第一养生糕”之说, 近几年,更为养生堂创办者中医专家罗大伦博士所推崇。古方用草药研磨成细粉,加入米粉。米粉可以一半为糯米粉一半为普通米粉。再加入适量水和糖。和成面团,蒸熟后切快烘干。
